First, GIMMY produces sugar-free gummy supplements. Many alternative gummies are made of gelatin and are sugar based. They taste good, but why take a supplement to support your health, when at the same time cancelling out the health benefits because of the amount of sugar? Sugar leads to a rise in blood sugar and may also result in cavity problems. Instead, GIMMY uses organic sweeteners (maltitol) to make our gummies taste magnificent, instead of glucose, high-fructose corn syrup or other artificial sweeteners (that have notorious toxicity labels (Source).

Second, GIMMYs are pectin based gummies, compared to gelatin or starch based gummy vitamins. We have deliberately chosen fruit-based pectin to create the chewy texture for the following reasons.

• Gelatin is an animal product, which is not in line with our and our customers’ sustainability values. Also, using gelatin completely ignores vegan customers that are looking for energy support, stress relief or any other reason for taking vitamin supplements. We value the environment highly and are inclusive of everyone, so gelatin never crossed our mind as ingredient for vitamins.
• Starch-based gummies are vegan friendly, but customers complain about their texture and the chewing experience. Starch gummies stick to your teeth, and most people hate it.

• Our gummies are gluten free vitamins, to also be inclusive of those who have issues with digestion or simply dislike gluten based products
• No one thinks of synthetic and artificial coloring as being healthy, that’s why GIMMY has decided to work with natural color enhancers that originate from plants, vegetables, etc.
• No synthetic taste additives are used in our gummy vitamins. To be in line with our organic ingredients and sustainability values, we decided to only use organic taste improvement ingredients.
